OVERVIEW
Our brief was to create a beautiful contemporary landscape to complement the client's freshly renovated home set on a sloped block with plenty of rock bed.
APPROACH
To accentuate the natural rock setting, we introduced a variety of natural materials for hardscapes such as decomposed granite, pebbles, hardwood slats and corten steel for stairs and retaining walls.
The result is a landscape that beautifully contrasts sharp lines and right angles with soft curves and organic materials.
HIGHLIGHTS
A multi-tiered front and backyard space with dramatic garden terraces featuring elegantly contrasting contemporary planting and hardwood slats that follow the contour of the rock bed.
Corten steel and decomposed granite stairs, leading to a children's play area.
